Photographers Without Borders is a group of storytellers, creators, activists and so much more! Kim and her son have been members since 2018 and travelled to Nepal to group up with SASANE in the efforts to halt human trafficking and bring more light upon the dark environment.
The Giving Portrait was created in College as a project to raise funds for program but then was remade to give back to the community. This allows people who don't always have the funds to get a beautiful family photo together, or for people who are in need of professional headshots to get a head start in life. It happens every year during May.
Every week, Kim sets out to help feed stray cats in the community. The groups goal is to get them neutered and returned back to the environment if they are not fit to go to a shelter. It's Non-Profit organization and she is a proud member.
Kim Annand volunteered her photography to help create a calendar with the Gilda's Club. Gilda's Club is a organization based out of Toronto that's main focus is to help support those who have had or are still going through their cancer diagnoses.
Both Kim and Dylan have volunteered to assist in The Help Portrait in Toronto, working alongside other professionals in the field and giving back to families that can not always afford to have family photos or professional headshots.
